regify e-mail remains secure while PGP and S/MIME have become vulnerable

German IT researchers have detected fundamental vulnerabilities in the two common e-mail encryption methods – PGP and S/MIME – that may give attackers access to secret messages. regify security technology is not affected. “We do not use PGP and S/MIME encryption methods and, for security reasons and for ease of use, we use methods that generate and encrypt each message with an individual key based on Advanced Encryption Standard”, says Kurt Kammerer, Managing Director of regify. The regify e-mail products regimail, regipay, regigate and regibill are still secure and fully usable.
